ABOUT THE MUSIC
From her earliest recordings to her latest releases, Rachel’s work has been a compass for navigating the human condition.
Her songs explore life’s turning points, the choices that shape us, and the turbulent yet familiar experiences of our paths.
Though she has experimented with shades of folk, soul, blues and rock, the steady thread that links it all together is a deeper search for humanness and connection.
HOURS AWAKE (2019)
Hours Awake is a limited release collection of Rachel's first musings, presented in a rich blend of folk and indie-soul, unveiling her gift for storytelling and emotional depth.
Hours Awake set the foundation for her sonic journey, pairing velvety vocals with arrangements that felt both intimate and expansive.
The lead single, Only Dreams, was featured on prime-time BBC 2, played on BBC Radio 6 and praised by Tom Robinson's Fresh on The Net.
REAP WHAT YOU SOW (2021)
With the EP Reap What You Sow, Rachel leaned further into atmospheric production and sharp lyricism, structuring it as the passing of a storm and reflecting on consequence, growth, and resilience.
It marked a turning point, steering her sound toward a bolder blend of rock and alternative while expanding the emotional range of her storytelling.
Reap What You Sow and Roots were featured on Netflix and BBC iPlayer, and Time Waits For No Man has since become Rachel's most popular song, reaching millions of views on TikTok.
SINGLES (2021-2023)
A run of standalone tracks that revealed a more experimental side: lush orchestrations, alt-pop textures, and subtle electronic sonics.
Lyrically, they explored grief, escapism, freedom, and the courage to change one’s path; each song a snapshot of transformation.
Among others, Hurricane was exclusively premiered on CMT.com and I Won’t Turn You Away featured on Atwood Magazine.
A MIND MADE OF SKY (2025)
Rachel's newest EP gathers the threads of her past and lifts them skyward, but at its heart lies an unflinching look at mental health.
A Mind Made of Sky delves into the battles with self-doubt and the fragile beauty of hope. With widescreen and expansive sounds, punchy production yet deeply personal in songwriting, it invites listeners to sit with their own thoughts while finding light in the haze.
Several tracks, including Rose Tinted and the title track A Mind Made of Sky (This Too Shall Pass), are currently in rotation in retail outlets in the UK and beyond, including Tesco, Waterstones, and Caffé Nero.
